Hello all!
Picking up where we left off, I had an excellent evening with my friends at the Publick House Friday night! I was successful in only have one beer, but I was so hungry because I had only had 2 meals so I got a late dinner as well. While I am trying not to eat past 9-10pm (depending on how late my day is) I got the grilled Cajun chicken sandwich (which was delicious) with no cheese and a side salad instead of fries.
Saturday morning started with a wonderful cup of my father's delicious coffee with no sugar but a splash of flavored creamer.

Just kidding, I didn't drink my hamster. She just looked way too cute in this mug.
Then I whipped up one of my delicious chocolate almond milk shakes and headed to work! The shake got me through until 4pm. I then went for a run with my dad around town, really tried to kick it in hard at the end. We were out for 32.5 minutes.
I had a plate of pasta, diced tomatoes, broccoli, and some Parmesan cheese. Later when Michael got home from work I had a very small slice of DiGiorno pizza with him and then splurged on dessert with 6 sour punch straws. I should let you know that blue sour candy is completely irresistible to me.

My favorite candy EVER
This picture makes me want to quite dieting and become a professional blue sour candy eater. That's a real thing right?
But I digress.
This morning I woke up early because the boyfriend and I were singing in church! It was a wonderful service, I absolutely love singing for people and I am truly enjoy any opportunity I have to perform. His mom was the fill in/guest pianist and music leader for the day and we sang All Good Gifts (which Michael nailed!) and then we did a mash-up of Prepare Ye and Bless the Lord! I love performing, but even more so I love rocking out in church, so it was a double win. We had a lovely time and then went to Sin'n'Soda for brunch! I had 2 eggs over easy, rye toast, ham and potatoes. (It was not the french toast and bacon I wanted to order but so good...and probably not that much healthier but the little things!....well I probably should have skipped the toast and potatoes...I'll get there someday!)
I went out for a grocery shopping run with the padre and let me tell you- I bought out the produce aisle. Mushrooms, carrots, celery, spinach, garlic, onions, strawberries, plums, parsnips (
nerdy carrots as Michael calls them), turnips, potatoes and even and eggplant! I have never purchased an eggplant before in my life. I'm not really sure what I am going to do with it but I will tell you, it felt really good to buy it, haha. I threw everything into a pot, added a pinch of everything in the spice cabinet, and this is what came out.

Yum!
It wasn't ready until quite late so it will be lunch/dinner/breakfast/snack for the next week. (I made a lot...a LOT a lot.)
I did not get a hard work out in today, but I did have a wonderful recovery day with my brother and Michael. We went to Pumpkin Town and enjoyed some roasted corn, apple cider, AMAZING apples (literally the best I've had in my life) and it was so fun!! I did splurge on one apple donut but it was heavenly.
We also stopped by
Duckwalk for a wine tasting with my favorite Duckwalk man, Mike! We had fun swirling, sniffing, and sipping our way through the wine list. I think we are close to connoisseurs at this point. I had a serving of pasta and sauce with ground turkey for dinner, a small ripped off hank of French bread and a glass of red wine for dinner. Then we did some cleaning and now it is time for one more cute picture of my hamster and then off to bed!

Her name is Catniss. Like in Hunger Games. And she is perfect.
Good night to all! I plan on kicking my butt in the gym tomorrow, so be sure to check back for more sweaty, grungy, painful pictures of me tomorrow! I'll throw in some more cute hamster pictures to spice it up a bit though, don't worry.
Peace.
